Sponsoring a session.

Who sponsors

Whoever starts a session sponsors it. Anyone else in it can sponsor it too, from the session’s Details, and anyone can stop. Joining a session never costs you anything unless you sponsor it.

What it takes

A budget, which Premium gives you, from $10 a month. Free has none, for now: on Free you can join any session someone sponsors, but you can’t pay for one. If you start a session on Free, you’re still its sponsor, and Panorama gets going as soon as you have Premium.

When a session has no sponsor

Panorama waits. What you write still arrives, and Panorama reads all of it once someone sponsors the session. To get it going, either:

1. get Premium in Settings → Account, then sponsor the session from its Details (one you started counts at once), or
2. invite someone who has Premium, and ask them to sponsor it.

Several sponsors

Sponsors share what Panorama costs in proportion to their plans. When one sponsor’s budget is used up, the others cover it; when all of theirs are, Panorama waits until one refills. The Plans page has what everything costs.

Who sees what

Everyone in a session sees who sponsors it and who’s on Premium. Nobody sees anyone’s amount, budget, or what they’ve used.
